The Most Popular Hymns to Select For A Funeral

The singing of hymns still remains a hugely popular music choice for funerals. Many people find great comfort in including religious songs in their loved one’s service.

Indeed, hymns can have a deep meaning for the person who has passed away or the loved ones who are planning the funeral. I think this why lots of people research religious hymns and their lyrics to makes sure that the words get the sentiment just right!

Traditionally, during a Christian funeral service, at least two hymns are sung. These are normally at the start and end of the service. However, you can, of course, choose as many hymns as you like or indeed mix them with other songs or pre-recorded music to really personalise the service. But remember that not all hymns are somber and many can give an uplifting feeling, all you need to do is ensure that hymn suits the personality and beliefs of your loved one.
