This is a time that can get forgotten within the whole ceremony and yet it can be the part that really adds the wow factor to the day; especially if you have a live performance by a musician or singer.
Signing the register is actually the bit that makes the marriage official. So, having music to fill this time will allow you, your partner and witnesses to soak up the atmosphere, have some photographs taken and catch your breath without feeling rushed. Music will also ensure there isn't the awkward silence, seat shuffling and that the energy does not drop.
It's a joyous, celebratory moment and you can choose anything from a rousing ballad to a romantic acoustic love song, from heavy metal to gospel, or from modern to classical. The choice is huge!!!
It will also give you a chance to really add some uniqueness and personality to your ceremony and is the opportunity for you to choose something with a lot of meaning for both of you. So go wild .... well not too wild!
I would suggest you choose a couple of songs or pieces of music during this part of the ceremony to give yourself time to reflect and enjoy the moment.
